Course objectives
The course Social Problems from the Gender Aspect follows the information about bachelor study programme especially of Social Policy I a II and develops it. The aim of the course is to introduce current concept of gender as a category for group of characters and behaviour of man and woman which are formed by culture, social roles and are transferred as social pattern of subjects. The aim of the course is to explain theoretical and methodological ways out of gender concepts and analysis and to apply them on social problems and social policy. The commentary is aimed at clarifying of gender as social category which projects to reflexion and interpretation of many social problems.

Seminar paper - an outline of selected social political topic with use of essay form.
Written exam aimed at testing theoretical issues (basic terminology of the field, characteristics of concepts and principles, ways out and theories) and practical knowledge (assertion of social political gender policies in practice).
