Course objectives
The aim of the course is to present the structure of public finances, connections between public administration and public finances which are very tight, next also financing of non-profit organizations and their relation to budgets of state administration and local self-administration. The student will be introduced the budget system generally, public budgets in the Czech republic (state, local self-administrations, funds), common budget of EU, financial organs and financing of selected branches (education, health service, social security, or others). The teaching comprises also seminar, in which the theoretical findings will be further exercised and discussed by the means of seminar papers.

    8. Non-profit organizations and their relation to public finances
    9. Financing of social security
    10. Financing of health service
    11. Financing of education (resp. other branches coordinated by public administration)

Teacher's information
Exam is written and contains the seminar paper on assigned topic (full-time students will also participate actively in seminars). The required seminar attendance is minimally 60%.
