Course objectives
The students will be presented the principal issues of populations of central Europe. They will acquire knowledge of the importance of demographical structures for economic and social development of states and regions. The characteristics of demographic situation of countries of central Europe will enable them to understand the fundamentals of policy towards inhabitants in these countries and conditions of its development. The lectures will help them to understand the structural policy of European Union in relation to countries of central Europe, conditioned by population potential. The students will also learn the situation of inhabitants in countries of central Europe on background of whole European Union.
