Course objectives (in Czech)
Předmět navazuje na informace z bakalářského programu zejména z psychologie, sociologie, sociální politiky I a II a rozvíjí je. Cílem předmětu je seznámení studentů se současným pojetím rodu neboli genderu jako kategorie pro skupinu vlastností a chování muže a ženy, které jsou formovány kulturou, sociálními rolemi a jsou přenášeny jako společenský vzorec na rod subjektů. Cílem předmětu je vysvětlit teoretická a metodologická východiska genderových konceptů a analýz a aplikovat je na sociální problémy a sociální politiku. Výklad je zaměřen na objasnění genderu jako sociální kategorie, jež se promítá do reflexe a interpretace mnoha sociálních problémů.
