- Course objectives
- LECTURE The aim of this course is to deepen students' knowledge of pedagogical sciences, to develop communication, creativity and activity in work with children. SEMINAR The aim of this course is to acquire specific skills in making contacts with young people in leisure centers and in the field. The course is also focused on the practical training of appropriate forms of leisure time of recent youth, and the training methods of dealing with adolescents. Attention will be devoted to help individuals and groups in the choice of leisure activities and way of experiencing free time.

- LECTURE
1. Leisure - terminology, a brief development education of leisure.
2. Leisure and lifestyle. Education charter for leisure.
3. Education outside the classroom, definition of concept, function, requirements for implementation.
4. Leisure activities as part of education outside the classroom.
5. Educational Institutions in leisure time - school clubs, children's home, house of children and youth.
6. Civic associations for children, youth and adults.
7. Education, training and leisure activities for children of Romany ethnicity.
8. Personality of leisure educator, relationship and communication in education outside the classroom.
9. Bringing together children and young people in peer groups.
10. Volunteering as a form of cooperation in recreational activities.
11. Prospects and problems of leisure time.
SEMINAR
1. Play, leisure activities and methodology.
2. Animation.
3. Experiential education and its importance in education.
4. Drop-in facilities for children and youth and their content.
5. Streetwork as a method of social work with risk groups of children and youth.
6. Streetwork and drug problems.
7. Code of conduct of field workers.
8. Peer Authority and its use in peer programs.
9. Groups, subcultures and youth movement.
10. Job possibilities for leisure time teachers.
