Course objectives
LECTURE The subject aims to provide students with a basic overview of possible psycho-therapeutic activities in Social Pathology and Prevention. Students will understand the basic directions of psychotherapy, will know the basic principles and methods of psychotherapy. Students will realize the interdependence of multiple disciplines and other objects. SEMINAR Seminars will be conducted as self-experience. The goal is that the students will be able to specifically introduce the possibilities of different psycho-therapeutic methods and techniques, forms, resulting from major psycho-therapeutic approaches.

  • LECTURE
    1. Basic concepts, definition and goal of psychotherapy, types of psychotherapy,elementary directions of psychotherapy
    2. Deep, dynamic and interpersonal psychotherapy
    3. Rogers, behavioural and cognitive psychotherapy
    4. Communication psychotherapy, gestalt therapy
    5. Existential and humanistic psychotherapy
    6. Other approaches, eclectic and integrative approach
    7. Methods of Psychotherapy - rational, suggestive and hypnotic
    8. Methods of Psychotherapy - empathic, abreactive, relaxing and imagination
    9. Methods of Psychotherapy - practically applicable, psychoanalytic and interpersonal
    10. Group psychotherapy
    11. Family and systemic therapy
    SEMINAR
    1. Introduction to psychotherapy, individual interview, group work.
    2. Empathetic psychotherapy, empathic approach and interview simulation.
    3. Dynamic psychotherapy and group events.
    4. Dynamic psychotherapy, the use of non-verbal methods psycho-gymnastics.
    5. Forming the life goals, finding a meaning in life.
    6. Cognitive behavioural psychotherapy, systematic desensibilization and other techniques.
    7. Transactional analysis, rational therapy, communication games.
    8. Hypnosis, hypnotic susceptibility, suggestions, autogenous training.
    9. Relaxation techniques, imagination, work with dreams.
    10. Art therapy, music therapy, psycho-games.
    11. Methods of psychotherapy for children.
