Course objectives
The aim of the course is to introduce the current concept of gender as category for group of characteristics and behaviour of man and woman which are formed by culture, social roles and are transmitted as social pattern for gender of subjects. The aim of the course is to explain the theoretical and methodological way outs of gender concepts and analyses and apply them on social issues and social policy. The teaching is focused on explanation of gender as social category which is shown in reflex and interpret of many social problems. The main goal of the seminar is to introduce the students to reality of gender issue, analysis of concrete problems in society and perception of meaning of knowledge regarding gender questions on functioning of labour market.
