- The course is offered to students of any study field.
- Course objectives
- The course is one of a set of compulsory courses. It provides fundamentals of clinical pharmacology, to which other courses of the field of study are tied. An important part also consist in issues of desired and adverse effects of medicine, whose monitoring is one of nurse's basic duties
- Syllabus
- 1. Pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics.
2. Clinical assessment of drugs, registration of drugs, drug interactions, adverse effects of drugs.
3. Vegetative nervous system.
4. Drugs used for therapy of the cardiovascular system.
5. Antiplatelet therapy, venoactive drugs and drugs influencing the blood coagulation.
6. Drugs used for respiratory system diseases.
7. Drugs affecting the gastrointestinal system.
8. Pain therapy: analgesics, antipyretics, non-steroidal anthireumatics, antiflogistics, drugs taken for gout, opioid analgesics.
9. Drugs used in anaesthesiology.
10. Drugs used for neurologic and psychiatric diseases.
11. Cytostatics, antimicrobial therapy.
12. Hormones, drugs used in obstetrics and urology.
13. Antidiabetics.
