Course objectives
The aim of the subject is to provide students with a fundamental orientation in the field of General Psychology and Personality Psychology. The subject also get students acquainted with fundamental terms used for characteristics of the individual mental processes, states and qualities of a man. Students at the same time get to understand the personality psychology basics, which summarizes and intergates the psychological pieces of knowledge about forming a man´s mental life. Within this subject, there is also attention paid to other relevant theories of personality, to the determinants of a personality development and to the history of the field´s (General/Perosnality Psychology) development. The aim of this course is also to build up a theoretical as well practical basis for furthuer studies of applied disciplines in the field of Psychology and Pedagogy.

  • Requirements for students
    Semestrial work (at least 10 pages) according to the selected topic approved by the teacher. A minimum success rate is 75 percent. Exam written test.
