Course objectives
The course objective is to show not only the programme of Educational care for the elderly, but also to provide a general outline of university studies. Students become familiar with the Higher Education Act, the basic documents of the faculty, the essential concepts relating to their studies, etc. An important part of the course is to acquaint students with the principles of elaborating a professional text, searching relevant resources and working with them.
Learning outcomes
Professional knowledge: Students know the principles of elaborating scientific papers and have an overview of basic literature for their studied discipline. Students know the basic documents governing the course of their study.
Professional skills: Students can search through professional resources and sources relevant to their studies. Students can use citation standards elaborating scientific papers.
General qualification: Students can find relevant expert sources and handle the elaboration of a scientific paper with respect to the work ethic.
