Course objectives
The aim of the lectures is to introduce the basic knowledge of the theory and practice of financing of local governmental units and the application of practical knowledge and experience with regional budgets in the CR, including relations to the state budget, state funds and EU funds.

    6th The structure of the public budgets of the Czech Republic, the relationship between budgets
    7th The position of local government in the public administration system
    8th The economy rules of territorial budgets
    9th The budgets of municipalities and the Voluntary Sssociations of Municipalities
    10th The budgets of counties and the Regional Councils of Coherence
    11th The assets of local governments
    12th The EU budget, use of EU funds in local government

Teacher's information
Knowledge of public administration and public finance. Active participation in the seminars. Students will write seminar paper according to issue of municipal finances. Presentation of seminar papers and discussion in seminars. Exam: presentation of seminar essay and discusion, oral: examination of a selected group of topics.
