- 1. The principles of rule of law, basic concepts of the theory of law, constitutional order of the Czech Republic
- 2. The structure of the Czech legal system, structure of state and local governments in the Czech Republic
- 3. The administrative process, the issue of foreigners and asylum seekers
- 4. Basic concepts of substantive civil law, the issue of protection of personal rights, property law, contract law, inheritance and damages
- 5. Basic concepts, principles and course of civil proceedings
- 6. Basic concepts, sources and principles of family law
- 7. Legislation on marriage and foster care, social and legal protection of children
- 8. Legal regulation of individual and collective labour law and employment issues
- 9. Basic concepts, elements and features of substantive criminal law, selected constituent elements of crimes, principles of criminal procedure, its progress
- 10. Basic concepts, social security system in the Czech Republic and its subdivisions, organization and management of social security 11. Social security financing in the EU

- Students will be able to continuously consult the topics studied individually via e-mail, or in individual or team consultations upon request. Consultation days and hours are set by the instructor at the beginning of the semester but the instructor is also available by prior arrangement according to the students’ needs.
