Předmět může být zapsán nezávisle na jiných předmětech.
Student si může zapsat část 2., má-li splněnu část 1., případně studuje-li současně části 1. a 2.
Studentovi, který získá certifikát z cizího jazyka s mezinárodní platností, bude na požádání uznána příslušná část dle dosažené úrovně jazyka.

Course objectives (in Czech)

Po absolvování předmětu úspěšný student dosáhne 1. stupně úrovně B1 (SERR). Předmět je zaměřen především na rozvoj a nácvik samostatného mluveného projevu a poslechových dovedností. Nácvik probíhá formou diskusí, hraní rolí, zpracovávání případových studií a prezentací. V rámci receptivních dovedností, poslechu a čtení, je rozvíjeno rychlé seznámení s textem, obecné porozumění a vyhledávání podrobných informací. Pozornost je rovněž věnována systematickému rozvoji odborného lexika, porozumění a studiu kolokací a odborných frází. Kromě obvyklých jazykových dovedností se student naučí samostatně vyhledávat tematicky zaměřené informace na Internetu. Dále se naučí samostatné práci s interaktivními studijními materiály (DVD-ROM - mj. audio a video nahrávky).
