Course objectives

The goal of the subject is to present students with the development of destinations in tourism in the geographic environment. Students will learn how to understand formation of regions in tourism and to distinguish their regional disparities. Students will be acquainted with the most significant tourist domestic and world regions.

  4. Nature of regional disparities and specifics in tourism
  5. Cities as tourist destinations
  6. Specifics of mountain and alpine tourist regions
  7. Specifics od seaside tourist regions
  8. Regionalisation of tourism in Europe
  9. Regionalisation of tourism in the Czech Republic
  10. Regionalisation of tourism in America
  11. Other tourist regions in the world
  12. Competition and cooperation nature of tourist regions
