Course objectives
In lectures, the students shall learn the basics of geography of tourism, including the definition of terms, factors of development and deployment of tourism, standardization and categorization of centers of tourism, with the basics of the geographical research of tourism and recreation in the Czech Republic. Then there is a brief introduction of the geography of tourism and the development of tourism in the Czech Republic, the regionalization of the Czech Republic in terms of tourism, the potential of tourism and environmental approach of tourism development. And last but not least students shall be introduced also the geography of tourism in individual regions of the Czech Republic.
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- identify and summarize important features of tourism development in the Czech Republic;
- compare differences in selected tourist areas from the point of view of tourism;
- present selected tourist attractions in the Czech Republic;

    10. Geography of tourism in Hradec Králové and Pardubice Regions
    11. Geography of tourism in Southern Moravia and Vysočina Regions
