Course objectives

The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the importance of social care for disabled groups in terms of their integration into society. Approaches, forms and methods of state and non-state interventions, legislative action in social care for the disabled, the elderly, ethnic and minority groups. Strengthen students' empathetic approach to members of handicapped groups.

  7. Forms of social care for the handicapped

  10.Voluntary work in social care for the disabled
  11. The boundaries of law and tolerance in relation to the handicapped
  12. Social protection of disabled in examples of some European Union
  13. Presentation of contributions to the discussion on the chosen topic.
