Course objectives

The aim of the subject is, in practice, the theoretical knowledge acquired in the course of law. The subject belongs to the group of subjects focusing on special legal area of social security. Social security is composed of three systems of social protection of the population, which are social insurance, State social support and social care. Subject to the audience provides a comprehensive overview of the organization, management and implementation of social security, social security insurance, sickness and pension insurance, health insurance, State social support and social care. Knowledge of the basic principles, the role of the State and the position of the bodies is essential in terms of the needs of the company, for the application of the graduates in the State administration, public administration, but also in the business sphere.

Syllabus

• 1.General characteristics of the legal discipline, its place in the legal system
  2.The role of public authorities in field of social security, the functions of the organizations in the social security, the rights and obligations of citizens in the implementation of social security
  3. Financial management of the state in the field of social security
  4. Sickness insurance, sickness insurance for self-employed persons and social allowances
  5. Pensions insurance and the conditions of participation on this insurance, the different types of pensions, common provisions for pensions
  6. Different types of pensions, common provisions for pensions
  7. Health insurance
  8. State social support and the range of authorised person
  9. Circle the beneficiaries
  10. Social welfare and its range
  11. The proceedings in cases of sickness insurance, pension insurance and insurance for social security and a contribution to the state employment policy
  12. The administrative procedure in matters of social security and a contribution to the state employment policy
