V současné době vzrůstá nutnost efektivního řízení firmy, aby byla schopna udržet se ve vzrůstající konkurenci na globálním trhu. V rámci tohoto předmětu se studenti setkají s důležitostí dat, informací a znalostí v oblasti řízení a s možnostmi jejich efektivní reprezentace a využívání. V rámci předmětu dojde také k seznámení s moderními informačními a komunikačními technologiemi sloužícími jako efektivní podpora manažerských rozhodnutí.
