Course objectives

The aim of the course is to introduce students with the concept of structural and regional policy in the European Union as one of the most important EU policies, whose mission is to reduce disparities in the level of regions and individual countries. In addition, students will learn about the possibilities and consequences of the use of Structural funds in the EU and in the Czech Republic as a new member state, which gradually involved in the use of standard structural policy instruments.

  3. Development and position of structural and regional policy in the economic policies of the European Union in 2000
  4. Development and position of structural and regional policy in the economic policies of the European Union since 2000
  5. Structural Funds of the European Union
  6. Cohesion Fund of the European Union
  7. Programming documents and legislative ensure structural and regional policy in the European Union
  8. Forms of aid from the Structural Funds
  9. Support for small and medium enterprises
  10. Specific aspects of industrial policy of the European Union
  11. Structural and regional policy in the Czech Republic
  12. Czech Republic and possibilities of using for Structural Funds of the European Union
  13. Czech Republic in the EU and the related possibility of using EU Structural Funds in the CR
