Course objectives (in Czech)
Úroveň - A 2.2 mírně pokročilí Předmět je zaměřen na prohloubení znalostí a dovedností v oblasti obecného a/nebo profesního jazyka. Po absolvovaní daného předmětu jsou posluchači schopni adekvátně reagovat v řečových situacích jako např. plány do budoucna, prezentace firmy, obchodní jednání za předpokládané účasti tlumočníka, organizace výstav apod. Součástí předmětu je nácvik strategií v oblasti lexikálně gramatické, porozumění čtenému textu, psaní, poslechu s porozuměním a mluveného projevu.

    Obsah předmětu:
    1. Working in another country
    Present Perfect Simple and Continuous, since and for.
    Opinions and suggestions; Agreeing and disagreeing.
    2. A new luxury hotel
    Futures: Present Continuous, going to.
    Invitations.
    3. Europe's high speed future Future
    Will; 1st conditional, time clauses.
    Offers and requests.
    4. Cities in crisis
    2nd conditional. Asking for information.
    5. Communicating across cultures
    Modal auxiliary verbs: should, must, may.
    Social responses.
    6. Champagne
    Passives: Present Simple, Past Simple, Present Perfect.
    Thanking for hospitality; saying good bye.

    V rámci výuky předmětu a jeho prezentaci jsou využívána elektronická média. K dispozici jsou studentům internetové stránky katedry cizích jazyků www.opf.slu.cz/kcj, na kterých se nacházejí podrobné informace k danému předmětu a doplňkové materiály. Dále mají studenti možnost využívat slovníky na internetu, např. www.seznam.cz, nebo www.translator.cz .
