Course objectives (in Czech)
Cílem předmětu je skloubit teoretické předpoklady verbální i neverbální komunikace se schopností aplikovat je v komerční praxi v anglickém jazyce. Pozornost bude věnována rozvíjení dovedností mluvení, poslechu, psaní a čtení v obchodní angličtině, pochopení kontextu obchodních situací a kognitivních postupů s nimi souvisejících, rozšíření slovní zásoby komerčního jazyka a prohloubení znalostí gramatických struktur. Posluchači budou také seznámeni s teorií kultur, procesem akulturace a jevem bilingvismu a jejich doprovodnými jevy, s politickými a kulturními předpoklady soužití v budoucí sjednocené Evropě a spolupráce v rámci EU. Cíle bude dosaženo pomocí široké nabídky různých typů komunikačních cvičení s odstupňovanou obtížností, všestrannou analýzou autentických textů s aktuální obchodní tematikou, procvičováním stěžejních gramatických jevů a slovní zásoby komerčního jazyka a hlavně řešením případových studií.
