Course objectives (in Czech)
Úroveň - B 2.1 středně pokročilí, směřující k úrovni "Vantage" pokročilých. Předmět vychází z úrovně intermediate anglického odborného jazyka zaměřeného hlavně na sféru ekonomiky a obchodu a navazuje v dané odbornosti na úrovni upper-intermediate. Studenti prohloubí a upevní své dosavadní znalosti, a to hlavně v oblasti obchodní komunikace, ale i v oblasti písemných projevů či administrativních záležitostí. Seznámit studenty se způsoby tvoření a obohacování slovní zásoby. Vést studenty k uvědomělému a cílevědomému používání jazyka v komunikaci jak z hlediska plynulosti, tak gramatické přesnosti.

    Present tenses review, Present Perfect Simple vs. Continuous, Learning new words Formal and informal greetings
    2. Looking back
    Past tenses review, used to + infinitive / would, verb + infinitive or gerund Telephoning - giving information, choosing the right register, interrupting and clarifying, Social conversation
    3. Travel and time
    Future forms review, If + will / going to / could / may
    Arranging a meeting, Direct and difficult questions
    4. Communication
    Usage of articles, Indirect speech, Sentence patterns with reporting verbs
    Understanding, interrupting and clarifying, Writing simply and clearly

    Defining / non-defining relative clauses, phrasal verbs
