Úroveň - B 2.2 pokročilí (odborný jazyk) Cílem předmětu je rozšíření slovní zásoby o terminologii z oblasti CR a aktivní užívání znalostí gramatických struktur, překlad tématicky zaměřených vět s využitím lexika a gramatických struktur, procvičování a rozvíjení dovedností mluvení, poslechu, čtení a psaní v CR na základě autentických písemných materiálů a magnetofonových nahrávek na úrovni B2 (upper-intermediate). Důraz je kladen na přesné zachycení důležitých informací na základě poslechu - data, čas, instrukce, zákazy a příkazy, konverzační pohotovost při objednávce lístků, rezervace ubytování, pojištění, při řešení stížností, rozvíjení komplexních komunikačních dovedností při řešení problémových situací a na efektivní písemnou komunikaci. Důraz se klade na jazykovou přípravu průvodce CR, manažera cestovní kanceláře a tour operátora s marketingovými a propagačními schopnostmi s uvědomělým používáním jazyka z hlediska adekvátnosti situace a řešení problémů v cizím jazyce s orientací na praxi.

    Transport by road and rail. Information from time tables, transport terminology. Language of comparison, contrast and reinforcement.

    Car hire arrangements, documents, insurance. Problem solving, giving advice, suggestions, sending faxes.
    3. Tickets, Reservations and Insurance
    Giving information on accommodation, facilities, air tickets and transport tickets. Calculating prices. Travel documents. Information on air tickets and accommodation on the Internet.
    4. Travel Agency Documents
    Arranging travel documents. Ensuring air tickets and transport tickets, accommodation, making reservations, insurance, filling forms. Writing letters faxes. Describing the events in the past. Checking and clarifying information.
    5. Tourist Information
    Vocabulary from promotion attractive places of tourism, by preparing leaflets, brochures. Tourism. Giving advice, suggestions. Types of accommodation and services.
    6. Preparation of the Travel Agent
    Recommendation of places of attraction and types of holidays. Meeting customer needs. Regional information on the CR. Giving factual information, measurements and dimensions. Making telephone calls and taking messages.

    Working as a guide. Communicative skills in guiding, the role of a guide. Skills of telephone communication, solving problems, requests and responses.
    8. Guiding Services
    The role of the guide. Negotiations, dealing with complaints, customs and travel documents. Guide commentaries. Comparing the adjectives, usage of tense. In active and passive forms.
