Course objectives
The course provides comprehensive knowledge of the theory of economic policy with an implication for a practical economical policy and it is built on knowledge acquired by the student in the course of Economic policy. The objective of this course is to introduce to students the possibilities of the making of economic policy at the basis of current economic theory. Special emphasis is placed on theoretical approaches of individual theoretical schools to the creation and possibilities of economic policy and on assessing the effectiveness of economic policy. Examples of the specific economic policies of developed countries will illustrate different forms of economic policy.
