Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide basic knowledge about the European Union, its objectives and principles on which it is based. The course also focus on the institutional structure and mechanism of functioning. Moreover, among its task is explanation of measures that help to achieve free movement of goods, services, capital and persons between the Member States. Another goal is to explain the effects of common and coordinated economic policies. It will be also mentioned the assumptions and effects of the Czech membership in the European Union.
