IS and MIS within functional areas such as Human Resources, Marketing & Sales, Production, Accounting & Finance, Customer Relationships Management (CRM), Product Supply Chain Management systems.
Data sources and processing in MIS

MIS and Digital firm
It is generally known that MIS play increasingly important role in the business world and emergence of the Internet technologies plays key role in the Internet commerce. Current and future development will be geared to the issue of so-called digital intelligent firms. Open, accessible and last but not least intelligent technologies require new management approaches increasingly based on outputs from MIS.
