- A student, in cooperation with the master thesis supervisor, will create an official assignment of the thesis. The course focuses on the formal and content processing of the thesis. In several seminars, a student is acquainted with the formal requirements for writing the final thesis, the emphasis is on the science methodology and principles of citations and publication ethics. Within consultations with the supervisor of the thesis, a student defines the subject of the master thesis. In addition, the aim of the thesis and methods are set up. The result of the course is creation of an official assignment of the thesis, which must be approved by the supervisor.
Content of seminars:
1. principles of writing professional text – aim of the thesis, structure of the thesis, choice of methods,
2. bibliographic citations and formal requirements for writing professional texts,
3. information resources – searching resources in the university library database, working with electronic resources and external databases,
4. research methods.
