- Course objectives
- A student knows other basic mathematical notions, assertions, problems and solutions of problems that find their application in practice, especially economic, and can use them for solutions of practical problems.
- Syllabus
- Stock and store theory:
- basic notions, deterministic models
- stochastic models
- P and Q models, P models with insurance stock
Queuing theory:
- model examples, input and its characteristics, service systems and their statistical analysis
- queuing mode, service mode, Kendall's classification of queuing systems, birth and death process
- operation intensity, the mean number of costumers in a service system, queue length and waiting time in M/M/1 system and M/M/s system
