International Trade Operations

The aim of the course is to provide a comprehensive study material that should enable students to have a good orientation in the relatively complex area of processes operating in business organizations in international markets. Several practical case studies and worked examples will be shown in the course. On the basis of these, the student should be able to apply the acquired knowledge of processes in international business organisations in practice.

The course focuses mainly on the following topics:

  • performing business operations,
  • legal documents used,
  • the risk management process,
  • sales planning and management,
  • purchase planning,
  • logistics and distribution operations.

These activities are presented primarily from an international perspective and should be familiar to anyone working in the management functions of international business organisations.

Wishing you successful studies

Radka Bauerová
