3. Class Differences
4. Friendship: Kalusová + Valášková, Swiech, Habartová
5. Grief: Niesporek + Rybnikářová, Říčná, Šinclová
6. Love: Růžička + Iliev, Fajkusová, Dubová
7. Mental Illness: Kunstová + Hendrychová, Vaňková, Borutová
8. Migration: Drobná + Uhlířová, Jedličková, Chrásková
9. Peer Pressure: Kovalčík + Stoklasa, Sieber, Peterek
10. Prejudice: Mlynek + Kudlová, Pivodová, Kryzová
11. Religion: Džupinová + Pokorná, Bokišová
12. Substance Abuse: Lipoldová + Gončarová, Janků, Simon
13. Violence: Gebauerová + Březovják, Štenclová, Ondruš
Each group will choose two novels, and compare and contrast them in the scope of their topic. Each group will consult their progress with the teacher on a regular basis.
Students are supposed to learn how to research relevant sources, both printed and online, use critical thinking and present their ideas to others in a persuasive way. They will need to use their communication and presentation skills.
