LLL plan description

Presentation of the LLL plan (learning objectives)
The goal is to provide seniors at the university level with an overview of the development of the world of finance, from the historical roots of banking in the Czech lands to today's digital payments, in a clear and practical way.
Target group
Students over 50 years old, secondary education is expected (not a requirement)
Learning Outcomes
Attention is paid to the historical development of the Czech banking system, safe savings management, orientation in loans and insurance, and prevention of financial fraud. The basics of investing in traditional instruments and financial products as well as alternative investments are introduced. It also includes an explanation of how emotions influence our financial decisions. Other blocks focus on inflation and its impacts, the euro and its use, taxes, and the state of public finances. An excursion to a historical building is included to explain the financing of non-profit organizations.
