This course is intended for foreign students mainly. Instead of a brief summary of Czech history, the course will present important personalities of Czech history in their historical and mythical incarnations. It will pursue two goals: 1) delivering important facts about Czech history, 2) analysis and interpretation of their intrumentalization by the national mythology.
