Course objectives
The aim of the lectures is to provide students with the basic information from the comparative and historical linguistics with respect to the English linguistic terminology. The lectures are in English.
Learning outcomes
Student is able to: - understand the relation of languages in the Indo-European language family - understand the sound, morphological and semantic changes - use the comparative method and the method of internal reconstruction
