Course objectives
The students will gain both practical and theoretical knowledge of multimedia applications development.
Syllabus
  • Sound as a wave, principles of the sound record using microphones.
    Analogue and digital sound recording - principles, parameters and possibilities.
    Practical sound classis - recording directly to PC, profi audiorecorders, multichannel wireless recording to digital videocameras.
    Light and its features, light´s passing through the lens, formation and parameters of picture.
    Categorization of present digital 2D and 3D cameras and their parameters.
    Brief 2D and 3D camera work fundations, operration of the camera.
    Practical class of work with 2D and 3D camera - making records in basic situations, record's transfer to PC.
    Practical class - evaluation of made records (in group).
    Introduction into processing of 2D and 3D AV records in PC, common characteristics of 2D and 3D editing programmes.
    Practical class - presentation of working in editing programme including the export of finished work (a simple example) and/or (depending on previous experience of students) production student's own 2D or 3D programme (task) on the negotiated topic (the best is student´s suggestion).
