Course objectives
The course continues in the course Geography of tourism I and provides more detailed overview of the potential and possibilities of tourism development in time and place context of natural and socioeconomic conditions. The aim is the knowledge of basic geographical conditions of world tourism. Emphasis is put mainly on orientation in the basic issues of the most visited natural, cultural and social attractions of European tourism. The students will also be informed of tourism regions on other continents. They will get the general knowledge of tourism in regional contexts and of the principles of regional development of tourism.
