Course objectives
The seminar accompanies the lecture course Modern history of Silesia. While interpreting text sources, the students will learn about the Silesian identity, its territory, administration, ethnical and confessional structure. The focus is on Silesian specifics (compared to Bohemia and Moravia). Different nationalist intepretations of the history of Silesia will be analyzed.
