Course objectives (in Czech)
Cílem výuky je nastínit proměny krásy v širších dobových souvislostech od konstituování estetiky jako samostatné vědy do současnosti. Přednášky jsou věnovány význačným estetickým teoriím, jež se přetvářely v úzkém sepětí s filosofií, ale také dalšími humanitními vědami jako sociologií, psychologií a sémantikou. Výklad je uzavřen pojednáním o estetice postmoderní doby, pro kterou je charakteristické zpochybnění univerzální platnosti stěžejních kognitivních kategorií.
