The seminar focused on disability specific meeting and blending of cultural influences ( and related cultural and political consequences ) in Central Europe in the range from 17 century to the Second World War and the collapse of " Central Europe " due to the establishment of a bipolar world. First Turkish danger in Central Europe, Baroque piety , historicism - regional experience Second Josephine concept of "state - machine " versus Central Europe as the traditional regions and patriarchal relations , patriotism , romantic historicism 3rd The discovery of Slavic theme , the beginnings of Slavonic Studies - Josef Dobrovský, Jan Kollár , Pavel Josef Safarik ; Slavic Studies at the University of Vienna 4th Panslovanství and Central European reception ( Kirjějevskij , Askakov ) ; neoslovanství 19th century criticism panslavism by Karel Havlicek 5th Czech Culture and Civil Society 1850-1918 - cultural strategy , Slavic themes, motifs ( TOPIK ) for example (Josef Holecek ) 6th Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk and " Slav question " 7th Czech Modernism between East and West - FX Salda , Polish Modernism and vernakulárni revival ; moderna in southern Slavs ( eg Croatia). 8th Slovakia and its emancipation - education, culture , relationship to the Czech culture, scientific and literary 9th Slavic and Central European avant-garde traditionalism : the - isms and a new Slavic mythology 10th Czechoslovakia 1918-1938 between East and West : Slavic cultural policy of the state et / west orientation versus 11th Resuscitation Slavic ideas in Czechoslovakia after 1945 ( in 1948 , respectively . 1950)
