- Course objectives
- The subject deals with the characteristics of objects obtained during archaeological researches. Basically, the archaeological objects are divided on the tangible and intangible objects. This subject focuses only on the intangible objects. During the semester, students will learn about a more detailed division of these objects, according to a material used, their function and other criteria. Consequently, the lessons will focus on understanding the particular types of the artefacts, their characteristics and timing of the main types. The study is divided into blocks, according to a material used (pottery, glass, metal, stone, bone and others) and according to chronological periods.
