- Course objectives
- The goal is to build a classical theory of electromagnetic field in an inductive way. The course is completed by formulation of Maxwell's equations and by derivation their basic consequences.

- The course can also be completed outside the examination period.
- Teacher's information
- The exam is only written, and consists of four problems. The time for solution is 120 minutes. Each problem is scored with 0-5 points, the maximum of 20 points thus can be obtained. The problems are drawn from the mandatory textbook, or from the types of problems that have been addressed by the tutorials. The test result shall be graded by the points obtained according the grading table. After notification of the results any student can - in the case of his/her interest - enter for additional oral exam to modify his/her grading. In the additional oral exam one question is drawn. The answer to this question is rated by -1, 0, 1, 2, 3 points, thus, the additional oral exam then can do better, but also worse off. (Minus one point is the penalty for giving oral exam up after drawing or if it appears that student fails to know the subject.) Before the debate with the examiner the student has 5 minutes for preparation.
