- Course objectives
- The seminar aims to introduce students into the basic questions of literary study and its vocabulary. The course includes reading and speaking about a selection of major works that represent the most important authors, periods and movements of Italian literature. That`s how the achieved theoretical knowledge is put into practice through the text analysis. The seminars offer the rudiments of the knowledge necessary for further study of Italian literature.
- Learning outcomes
- The students have a general knowledge of the Italian literary terminology and are able to apply it in the analysis of a literary text. They know the discussed authors and their most important works.

- 1. Comunicazione 2. I generi letterari: poesia e prosa 3. Le strutture narrative: fabula, intreccio, nuclei narrativi, sequenze 4. I meccanismi narrativi (narratore, prospettiva, distanza, voce); le forme del discorso 5. Tempo e spazio narrativo; la tipologia dei personaggi 6. L’immaginario della letteratura e le figure della retorica 7. La stratificazione poetica: gli strati del significante 8. La stratificazione poetica: gli strati del significato 9. Revisione, controllo delle analisi
