- Course objectives
- The course contains basic topics in the field of functional and formal morphology. The mutual conditionality of linguistic phenomena is emphasized (relation to phonetics and phonology, syntax, to textological disciplines). Knowledge is derived and practiced through current written and spoken texts. Work with CNK is included in the teaching. The aim of the course is to equip students with basic knowledge of morphology so that they are able to describe, assess and possibly modify words and word forms in the interest of the type of text.
- Learning outcomes
- Knowledge of the function of word types in utterance; knowledge of verbal-species transpositions; grammatical categories of nouns and verbs - their communicative validity; basics of word formation.
