Course objectives
This subject continues the course of Practical language skills 1. The tutorials aim at improving knowledge of Italian grammar, developing the communication skills and extending the students` vocabulary. After the first block of the Practical language skills course (together with the course Writing practice).
Learning outcomes
After completing the course, the student will be able to:
- master Italian at level B1;
- deepen their knowledge of grammar, including the use of technical terminology;
- understands more complex spoken text and is able to comment on it;
- can understand and translate more demanding written text and process a summary;
- can express his opinion.
Syllabus
  • 1. Fissare un appuntamento; gradi dell’aggettivo, comparativi e superlativi organici
  • 2. Le attività del tempo libero; proposizioni finali implicite (per + infinito)
  • 3. Gli sport invernali; formazione degli avverbi, gradi dell’avverbio
  • 4. Il cinema; costruzione far(si) fare, proposizioni implicite con senza + infinito
  • 5. Il cinema italiano; revisione
  • 6. Commentare un film; imperativo positivo e negativo
  • 7. Caratteri e umori; offrire e chiedere aiuto; imperativo positivo e negativo
  • 8. Un ritardo; forma di cortesia
  • 9. Espressioni tipiche della comunicazione orale 1; proposizioni temporali implicite (prima di + infinito)
  • 10. Un incidente stradale; gerundio semplice
  • 11. Espressioni tipiche della comunicazione orale 2; stare + gerundio
  • 12. Abilità metalinguistiche (correggersi, riformulare, chiedere spiegazioni, dare spiegazioni); passato remoto dei verbi regolari in –are, -ire
  • 13. Allenamento alla prova d’esame; revisione
