- Course objectives
- The aim of the course is to acquaint students in a playful way with German literature. The aim of the course is also to develop students' ability to work creatively with text, to rid them of fears of literature and to expand their vocabulary and means of expression.
- Learning outcomes
- The student is able to work creatively with a literary text. He can supplement, paraphrase, imitate, stage or transform it.

- 1. Introduction to work with literature in teaching German 2. What is literature? 3. Poetry: song, sonnet, hymn, ballad, etc. 4. Satire, parody, cabaret 5. Epics: small forms (short story, legend, fairy tale, fable, parable, etc.) 6. Epics: medium forms: short story, short story 7. Epics: great forms: novel, epic 8. Film adaptations of literary works - historical overview 9. Contemporary literature 10. Detective literature 11. Comics 12. Film adaptations of literary works - contemporary literature 13. Summary
