- Course objectives
- The lecture charts the evolution of the monetary system in the years 1918-1992 on the economic background of the Czech Lands and focuses primarily zvratových stages (1918, 1938-1939, 1945, 1953, 1992).
- Syllabus
- Extra lecture provides an overview of the development of currency circulating officially the territory of the Czech Republic since the beginning of the 18th century to the creation of the Czech currency after 1993. An overview of legal tender after the numismatic, however, are highlighted as significant moments in the fluctuations in the value of various currency units, list the financial crisis and the development of favorable currency. Considerable attention is paid to the various financial and macroeconomic concepts which affect monetary developments. Emphasis is also affected by a number of political decisions and events, both in terms of policy, internal and international, to the development of contemporary monetary systems in the country. Currency issues are yet in the broader context of economic development. It is made clear to the changing functions of the Bank of Issue and an overview of the development of financial institutions, mainly banks and insurance companies. Special attention is focused on the elucidation of currency reform, separation, etc.
