Course objectives
The main topics discussed in the course are the application of corpus data in lexicology, the structure of lexicon, the con-textual aspects of semantization, the possibilities of analysing collocations, phrases, and neologisms, and of studying lexicon from the point of view of specific discourse (mainly contrastively). An important part of the course is the application of corpus data in lexicography. 1. Lexicon structure 2. Lexicon semantics 3. Con-textual aspects of semantization 4. Multi-word expressions 5.
