- Course objectives
- This course acquaints the students with mathematical techniques necessary for understanding the basic course of physics.
- Syllabus
- Algebra: complex numbers, systems of linear algebraic equations, matrices, determinants, eigenvalues. Use in physics.
Analytic and differential geometry: coordinate system in the plane and in space; basic plane and space curves; Use in physics
Vector and tensor algebra
Calculus: Derivatives, power serries, integrals and methods of its calculation
Differential equations
