Course objectives
This course is focused on perspective field of UAV (Unmanned Autonomous Vehicles) which represents one of part of robotics.
Syllabus
  • 1. UAV platforms - classification and security
    2. Mechanical structure of UAV and mechanical parts
    3. Electro-mechanical parts of UAV platforms
    4. RC set, connection, functions and using
    5. Sensors and their technologies used for UAV construction
    6. Communication protocols with intelligent sensors (ultrasound, sensors, GPS, camera, gyroscope, magnet, speed sensor, etc.)
    7. Gyroscopes and systems for automatic control of RC models
    8. Suitable C PU boards to control
    9. SW structure of UAV as subsumption architecture of an autonomous agent
    10. Real-time image analysis to interaction mode agent-environment
    11. Multi-agent UAV platforms
    12. Using UAV in practice (army, navy, medicine, etc.)
