- Course objectives
- Introduction to the problematic of higher dimensions in physics. Emphasis is put on the study of black holes as an appropriate tool for testing the influence of additional dimensions on their astrophysical properties.

- Teacher's information
- To obtain credits, at the end of the semester student has to present a short seminar talk,
approximately 20 to 30 minutes long. The topic of the talk related to higher dimensional
physics will be specified by the lecturer or can be suggested by the student her/himself.
Topics can be purely theoretical, or of technical nature. In latter case, the student is basically
presenting her/his solution to some elemental problem complicated by the existence
of the additional dimensions.
