Course objectives
The aim of the course is to provide students with basic information about sound and written system of Czech. Students will learn the basics of Czech phonetics, phonology and orthography.
Learning outcomes
Students will be able: - to know the basic terminology of phonetics and phonology - to describe the Czech sound system - to describe the changes due to speech production - to use the phonetic transcription - to know and use the principles of Czech orthography
